When Competitors Lie

Has it ever happened to you?  In an effort to make themselves look 'good' they just plain make stuff up that isn't true?

It's an interesting feeling when it does happen.  Frankly, it creates all kinds of wild thoughts in your head.  You've worked hard and been honest with your customers.  The vast majority of them have experienced real benefit from your efforts.

Yet, someone is out there making you look bad by telling half-truths and twisting the facts, acting more like a politician than a business person.

It happened to us at InteractRV recently.  One of our competitors is doing exactly that.  Taking some truths about other competitors and using blanket statements to make it 'appear' that all web service providers to the RV industry are just all bad apples.

Afer initially being mad I began to look at the facts themselves.  We are honest with our clients.  We are fair with the costs and services we provide to them.  At the end of the day no matter what is said about us we know that we had integrity and were committed to the success of our clients.

I doubt we'll try to take any proactive action to form a rebuttle to their politicking but rather when the question comes up ... why should we do business with InteractRV vs B company we'll simply point to the facts and let those dealers make the decision for themselves.
